Resort Description

Experience the resort of the future, today. Disney's Contemporary Resort rises above Magic Kingdom® Park with an A-frame tower and two three-story garden wings housing a variety of restaurants, shops and recreation. As you see the Monorail glide through the resort's fourth floor concourse, you'll feel you've stepped into a place that's wonderfully ahead of your time.

Of course, there are also lots of things to make you feel right at home at this modern resort. Dining options for all tastes include the award-winning California Grill, serving seasonal entrees; Chef Mickey's Restaurant, where you can dine with your favorite characters; the Concourse Steakhouse, set in a 90-foot-high atrium with views of the Monorail; and the Food and Fun Center, a spot for hot and cold sandwiches. Cocktails and appetizers are available at the Outer Rim.

Active guests can enjoy six clay-surface tennis courts (tennis lessons and programs for players without partners are available), an Olympiad fitness center, boating, waterskiing, a white sand beach and access to five Walt Disney World® Resort championship golf courses with free transportation. For kids, there is a playground and a giant game room. The Magic Kingdom® Park is a monorail ride, ferryboat or short walk away.
