Our trip begins in the Mexican town of Playa del Carmen and runs parallel to the turquoise coastline. We
speed out to the coral cayes in Belize staying on the island of Caye Caulker. Then we cross into Guatemala and visit Flores and the ancient Mayan ruins of Tikal before staying at Finca Ixobel to tyr our hands at caving, horse-riding, river tubing or hiking. The town of Antigua is next, and arguably the prettiest town in all of Central America. We base ourselves in this are for a few days to explore Lake Atitlan and the surrounding countryside. Heading southwards we travel through Honduras and Nicaragua where we visit the ruins of Copan, stay on the island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua where you have a choice of two volcanoes to hike up. Then onto the Pacific coastline to San Juan del Sur. Our last country is Costa Rica. On the Caribbean side we visit Cahuita National Park and watch Green Sea Turtles nesting (seasonal) in Tortuguero National Park. Then over to the Pacific side stopping at the town of La Fortuna at the base of active Volcano Arenal, a great place to do white water rafting, trekking and soaking in the local hot springs. We hike through Monteverde Cloud forest in search of the elusive Quetzal bird, then relax with the sloths and monkeys on the beaches of Manual Antonio National Park before ending our tour in San Jose

Starting in San Jose, we explore both sides of Costa Rica before heading northwards
through Central America. Beginning on the Caribbean side we visit tow of Costa
Rica’s finest national parks, Cahuita and Tortuguero renowned for its
Green Sea Turtle nesting season. Heading to the Pacific side we spend three
nights in La Fortuna at the base of the active Volcano Arenal. This area offers
fantastic optional activities, such as canyoneering, hiking and white water
kayaking. We then cross Lake Arenal to the explore Monteverde Cloud forest a
magnificent ecosystem and home to many plant and animal species. Then we head
to Quepos for a couple of days of relaxation with the sloths and monkeys on
the pacific beaches of Manual Antonio National Park. From Costa Rica we head
north through Nicaragua and Honduras where we visit the ruins of Copan, swim
in remote freshwater lakes, hike up active volcanoes, and relax on stunning
isolated beaches. Our final country is Guatemala where the tour finishes in
the beautiful colonial town of Antigua, where you may wish to extend your holiday

Starting in Mexico City, we visit the pyramids of Teotihuacan, the gorgeous
silver mining town of Taxco, and then head to Oaxaca, home of the ancient city
of Monte Alban. Then onto the Mayan ruins of Palenque located in the jungle.
No visit to Mexico would be complete without a guided tour of Chichen Itza,
one of the new seven wonders of the world. Arriving on the Caribbean, we spend
a week of fun on those white sandy beaches, including the tranquil island of
