Ilima Terrace serves breakfast buffet-style and a la carte, as well as sandwiches, wraps, and salads for lunch. Tidepools offers award-winning, authentic Hawaiian cuisine, with dishes like Grilled Ahi Tataki with Snapper Sashimi and Grilled Mahi Mahi. The Kauai Luau is a must, with an elaborate buffet, open bar, hula lessons, and a spectacular demonstration of ancestral dance.

Recreation: There is a winding, freshwater river-pool, a 150-foot waterslide, and a saltwater lagoon where you can swim, snorkel, and kayak. Sunbathe and walk along the sands of Shipwreck Beach, and head to Poipu Beach for swimming and surf lessons. NOTE: No lifeguard is posted at Shipwreck Beach, and strong currents can make swimming unsafe. Always swim with another person, and pay attention to the posted warning flags. Stop by the tennis garden for daily clinics and round-robin tournaments.
