Day #1 Paris, France. Bienvenue! Time to relax or to begin exploring the magnificent “City of Light.” Your Local Host provides you with a Destination Guide, full of useful city information, and is on hand to help you create lasting memories.
Day #2 Paris. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you to famous Parisian landmarks: see the Latin Quarter, Napoléon’s Les Invalides, the Opéra, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, which honors those who fought for France, and drive along the Champs-Elysées. Admire the rose windows and other splendors in NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Take photos of the Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points.
Day #3 Paris. Full day at leisure to enjoy this romantic city.
Day #4 Paris–Aix-en-Provence. Travel by HIGH-SPEED TGV TRAIN (first-class) to Aix-en-Provence.
Day #5 Aix-en-Provence. On your morning guided sightseeing and orientation walk along 17th-century boulevard Cours Mirabeau, a lively area with fountains, elegant homes and famous cafés. Admire Mazarin Quarter, City Hall, the Jewish Quarter and visit CATHEDRAL OF THE HOLY SAVIOUR, known for its interesting combination of architectural styles and its art masterpiece the Burning Bush Triptych by Nicolas Froment.
Day #6 Aix-en-Provence. Full day at leisure.
