The 16 buildings of this tranquil vacation resort, on 16 oak-filled acres, are arranged around a large scenic lagoon with fountains and exotic ducks. The excitement of Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld bubbles close by.
The home-like accommodations of the 242 villas, in 1- to 3-story buildings, include air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a queen-size sofa bed, a dining area, satellite TV, a washer and dryer, an in-room safe, and a hairdryer. The 1-bedroom villas have a king-size bed, and the 2-bedroom villas have a king-size bed and 2 double beds. The wicker furniture and brightly colored fabrics lend a tropical feel. Some of the villas have a balcony or terrace. Ask about daily housekeeping services.
You can get coffee, submarine sandwiches, and salads at the hotel's general store. For a wider selection of casual and fine dining, you need only walk a few blocks. Also, local pizzerias deliver. Another option is to have a picnic. NOTE: You need to supply your own fuel to use the barbecue.
