Accommodations: Accommodations have a breezy, contemporary ambience, with neutral white, warm gray, and coffee-colored tones, tile floors, sleek furnishings, and private balconies. Room categories are divided by view; some overlook the golf course, gardens, and courtyard, while others overlook the mountains, and the best offer views of the ocean. All have a single king bed or 2 queen beds with pillow top mattresses. The tiled bathrooms have granite countertops and deluxe bath products. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, telephones, voicemail, in-room safes, high-speed internet, coffee makers, hairdryers, and iron/ironing boards.
Dining & Entertainment: For fine dining, there’s Three Palms, serving traditional Jamaican dishes with modern influences, and Luna di Mare, specializing in Italian cuisine and featuring an extensive wine list. More casual dining options include: Fresh Restaurant, a buffet open for breakfast and dinner; Mangoes Bar & Grill, which has a casual lunch menu; the aptly named Seaside Bar & Grill; and Bar King Frog, the lobby bar serving drinks and late-night snacks. The 19th Hole Bar serves local beers and tropical drinks. At night, the Cricket Club hosts live music, DJs, karaoke, sing-a-longs, games, and reggae. For those looking to venture out, Montego Bay is 15 minutes away and home to nightclubs, restaurants, and shopping opportunities.
Recreation: The water park, Sugar Mill Falls, includes connecting pools, a meandering river, lagoons, waterfalls, a 280-foot waterslide, secluded spa tubs, swim-up bars, terraces with lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and poolside concierge service. Other diversions include the private beach, snorkeling, diving, parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking, volleyball, fishing, boat tours, and jet skiing. The luxurious new Soothe Spa lives up to its name with a vast menu that uses time-tested techniques and the nourishing ingredients from the surrounding environment. The 18-hole golf course is designed by Robert Von Hagge, and has been recognized by Golfer’s Digest and Golf Magazine.
